The government is committed to ensuring good order in the public transport system as a means to reduce crime particularly the abduction and rape of women and children.
The policy directive for the removal of tints from Public Passenger Vehicles must be enforced. I thank the taxi operators who pledged their support for the policy directive during a recent meeting with the Transport Authority.

A total of $103 million will be spent this financial year to undertake repairs on police facilities in the parishes of St. James and St. Catherine.
