Accommodation Identified for Wards at Clifton Boys’ Home

Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, Hon. Floyd Green, says a more suitable temporary location for wards of the State from the Clifton Boys’ Home in Darliston, Westmoreland, has been identified.

Legal Aid Mobile Unit Begins Visits on January 17

The recently launched Legal Aid Council Mobile Justice Unit will begin visiting locations within the month of January 2017.

The first location to be serviced by the unit will be Canaan Heights, Clarendon, on January 17 at the Canaan Heights Community Centre from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The incoming vice-president of the United States Mike Pence has expressed his desire to visit Jamaica.

Pence was speaking with Jamaica's Ambassador to the United States Audrey Marks this week at the Chairman’s Global Dinner and Diplomatic Ball in honour of Pence and President Elect Donald Trump.
