A 26-year-old Narrabundah man will face court this morning in relation to drug offences.

Police from Woden and Tuggeranong Stations searched a residence in Gowrie Court, Narrabundah, yesterday (21 July) and seized a trafficable quantity of illicit drugs including LSD, cannabis and several variants of prescription medication. As part of the national Operation Vitreus, ACT Policing detectives seized 29 mail consignments that contained drugs destined for Canberra residents.

Heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, steroids, synthetic cannabis, cannabis and methamphetamine precursor were all seized.

A house in Isabella Plains, which is linked to an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member, was shot at earlier this morning.

Police believe two men fired shots into the house using a shotgun and handgun, and were driving a small silver hatchback car. A gas cylinder was also used to start a fire at the house.
