On 3 January at approximately 7:30pm, an armed offender entered the Friendly Grocers Store in Narrabundah and threatened staff with a knife before fleeing on a pushbike with a sum of cash.

UPDATE:

Police are continuing to appeal to the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of missing 36-year-old man Joel Koppie.

NSW Police Force have now taken carriage of the investigation and ACT Policing is supporting them to locate Joel.

The suspicious fire was at a building in Isa Street Fyshwick, and believed to be Outlaw Motorcycle Gang related.

Taskforce Nemesis investigators will canvass the area for CCTV and urges anyone who saw or heard something suspicious near Isa Street around 12am this morning to contact Crime Stoppers. Please quote reference 6060766, and remember that information can be provided anonymously.

In the first 11 days of this year we have already issued over 480 Traffic Infringement Notices and cautions. Several of these were high range speeding.

One driver was caught travelling 98km/h over the limit, driving at 178km/h on Belconnen Way.
We also caught someone doing 151km/h in a 90km/h zone and 135km/h in a 80km/h zone.

A 31-year-old man has been extradited from New South Wales to face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.

The man is facing charges relating to the 2016 aggravated robbery of the Cellarbrations Liquor Store in Nicholls. It is alleged that he and an accomplice used a stolen vehicle and held up the store with a firearm.
