ACT Policing is investigating the suspected overdose of four juveniles hospitalised yesterday.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations are working to establish how the juveniles came into contact with the prescription medication.

The school year is almost over but school zone speed limits still apply. Two serious breaches have occurred in the last few days.

Yesterday a truck driver was caught travelling 89km/h in a school zone, taking 120m to stop.

The fire caused significant damage to a Manuka restaurant on the corner of Franklin and Furneax Streets, and some neighbouring properties sustained damage due to smoke.

Over the weekend, our #AFPFamily banded together to help Make-A-Wish Australia grant the wish of a very special boy, Declan.

Declan is 12-years-old and has leukaemia. His wish? To “blow stuff up!” Declan is a real ‘boy’s boy’, and after spending so much time in hospital battling his illness he wanted to do something risky and out of his comfort zone.

A male was knocked unconscious and underwent emergency surgery after being coward punched in Civic on Saturday.

The victim was near the taxi rank on London Circuit near Cube nightclub at around 3am when he was approached by three males. One of the males, who was behind the victim, punched him to the side of the face and immediately fled the scene.
