Canberra…this is serious, please take the time to read this.

There is currently a dangerous and illicit substance being sold as MDMA, that can have fatal consequences.

The substance contains a substituted amphetamine and a dangerous hallucinogen. It is a brown coarse material and is sold in pink and clear capsules.

If consumed, the drug can kill you or at best cause serious health problems....

Do you have any information, or did you witness, an aggravated robbery at the Fyshwick KFC on Tuesday 21 Feb?

About 9pm two men entered the store wearing balaclavas and dark clothing. They jumped the counter and stole a sum of cash after threatening staff.

The men were last seen crossing Canberra Avenue on foot, towards Narrabundah.

Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Fyshwick

On 15 February, we sought the public’s assistance in identifying a man after he stole a charity box from Domino’s Pizza in Weston.

Thanks to information from the Canberra community we have now identified the person of interest, who has been arrested and charged.

The 19-year-old man will face court at a later date.

Can you help us identify this man and woman wanted by police in relation to a burglary at the Spar Express Supermarket in Ngunnawal, about 4.40am on 3 February.

The man is described being about 5’11” tall, with a dark complexion, dark hair and a thin build. He was wearing a high visibility top, shorts and his face was covered.

If you witnessed a collision on Cooyong Street in the City on Saturday 18 February, then we want to hear from you.

Around 8pm a white Land Cruiser and a maroon Suzuki Grand Betaro collided while travelling in the same direction. Thankfully there were no injuries.

Detectives have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Gordon on 10 February 2017.

The man has been charged with intentional threat to inflict grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary, discharge loaded firearms at a person (two counts), discharge firearm endangering life, possess ammunition and unauthorised possession and use of a firearm.

Sadly, a male has died following a two vehicle collision in Weetangera this afternoon.

About 12.25pm, police responded to a report of a collision on Springvale Drive, Weetangera between a car and a motorcycle. ACT Ambulance Service attended and the male motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Yesterday, a drunk driver collided with a parked car outside Garran Primary School after he attempted a three point turn. Thankfully, no one was injured.
