C'est difficile d'imaginer en regardant dehors qu'à pareille date en 1971, Montréal vivait sa tempête du siècle.

L'aéroport était fermé, les rues bloquées et les ponts inutilisables car les accès étaient complètement enneigés. La seule façon de se déplacer était en raquettes, à pied, en motoneige et en métro.
