Say goodbye to our beautiful taps. They are being taken out today as we prepare for our closing. We are serving popcorn and bottled soft drinks at the front bar.
We want to hear your favorite memories from our past Alamo events. Did you attend one of our SING-A-LONG-A SOUND OF MUSIC shows? Did you dress up for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS or ROGUE ONE? Did you bring your kids to the CINDERELLA ball? Share your stories here.
As we head into our final days (no, we do not know the exact final day yet), we have to make some major changes. Our kitchen is being dismantled, so we can no longer serve our full menu. As of today, we have popcorn, chips and salsa, chips and queso, pretzels, peanut butter cookies, some candies and some beer and cocktail options.
Our TOMMY guests on Monday night were treated to The Ann-Margret Special: a dish of baked beans with a chocolate kiss chaser (we turned on the bubble machine to stand in for the soap suds).
Programming update: We are still showing THE COMPLETE METROPOLIS next Saturday, but sadly, Forget the Times will be unable to perform. It's still a rare chance to see director Fritz Lang's astonishing science-fiction epic on the big screen in its entirety.
