Stepping down as England Cricket captain has been an incredibly hard decision but I know this is the correct decision for me and at the right time for the team.
Playing for England really is a privilege and I hope to carry on as a Test player, making a full contribution and helping the next England captain and the team however I can.

Excited to see Zafar Ansari make his debut tomorrow and it's great to have Steven Finn back in the side. We'll be doing everything we can to leave Bangladesh with a 2-0 victory.
That was a brilliant Test Match and full credit to Bangladesh, we had to fight hard for that victory.
We showed great character throughout a really good Test Match. Shame there is a loser but we are delighted to get over the line!
