Kaizer Chiefs striker Edward Manqele has spoken out about how he requested the club to give him a second chance when he was transfer-listed at the end of last season.

He said to media:

“Last season I didn’t play much and putting me on transfer maybe made me realise that ‘you know what, I need to work harder to convince the management that I belong here and this is where I want to be"

Kaizer Chiefs new #10 Keagan Buchanan’s debut match has been tipped for Sunday Macufe against his former team Bloemfontein Celtic.

Buchanan has been out injured since November. What will be interesting is who between Ekstein and Buchanan will end up as the Kaizer Chiefs creative midfielder.

Keagan Buchanan Ready To Return For Kaizer Chiefs

“I am feeling much better and ready to go. I know people and supporters expect a lot from me but I won't put myself under pressure to prove what I can do for the team"

I think Keagan shouldn't worry about putting himself under pressure. The Amakhosi faithful will do that for him.

I know it's early to start talking about Kaizer Chiefs January transfer targets. One rumour that won't go away is around 21yr old midfielder, Phumlani Ntshangase.

I think he would be a great long term replacement for Willard Katsande

So what do you think ? Will the 2014/15 PSL Young Player of the Year make a difference to the squad ?

Don't know about you but I am looking forward to seeing Ekstein this season. Hopefully he will spend less time on the bench.

Seems like he is also excited about the up coming season.

They look like champions but will they play like them?

Just say NO!

As a supporter I believe Kaizer Chief's management or Komphela should have turned down the call up for Mathoho to play in the Olympics. Where he picked up a ligament injury.

The season ahead is crucial for the supporters, players and management. And now we start without arguably our best player.

Seems like the start of the season will be tough for coach Komphela, as he will be without Mathoho, Abraw and Keagan Buchanan due to injury

Mathoho & Buchanan will return soon. Abraw has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

How much of a blow will starting the season without Mathoho be on our title charge ?

Good luck to Morgan Gould Official
