Tomorrow marks the 133rd anniversary of the birth of Sir Alexander Bustamante.

The first Prime Minister of independent Jamaica, an activist against colonial rule, an advocate for the working class and the founder of the Jamaica Labour Party, Sir Alexander Bustamante will always be remembered for highlighting the social and economic problems of the poor and underprivileged in Jamaica.
