In week 36, we celebrate our legacy runners like Brian O., who show up at our start line year after year with the type of enthusiasm that makes our race so electric.

Here’s Brian in 2000 celebrating his first finish. He’s run every Bank of America Chicago Marathon since that day and, like us, will be celebrating his 40th birthday in October.

In week 38, we’re celebrating love and marriage – and running! On October 11, 2015, these two Bank of America Chicago Marathoners took the plunge at mile 8. Luckily, there was no runaway bride and these lovebirds crossed the finish line together – for the first time – as husband and wife.
