Couple of views from my birdwatching trip to Norfolk the other day. A single track road near The Wash Nature reserve and down on Snettisham Beach.
I took this photo from the middle of Hammersmith Bridge the other evening while out on the bike. It was a serendipitous moment of a few elements combined. The incoming tide is so powerful, it slows the river's flow and when it reaches a certain point the Thames appears to stop for a few minutes, and creates this mirror-like quality. Plus the clouds and evening sun helped.
We're now on sale with some work in progress dates from the very excellent, very funny Bill Bailey NEXT WEEK!

How many of our Canada geese have been to Canada, Bill?
Black kite scavenging in Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong. Phone down the binocular eyepiece shot.
Last night of the tour in Australia. I've just checked into the hotel in Canberra, the Jamala Wildlife Lodge, and there's a marvellous feature about this place.
The flight from Rose Bay in Sydney up to Newcastle. I never tire of this harbour view. During the flight I was filming with the phone and caught some lightning strikes- here are a couple of stills.
This was taken on tour on the way from Invercargill to Dunedin.

Spent a day diving off Michaelmas Cay , Cairns. We had only a 10 knot wind, so conditions were good. Here are a few of the shots from the day :
Filming a Sixband Angelfish,
The moment this Black Trevally recognised me,
A Clark's Anemone fish
A smiling Orbicular Batfish
Common Noddies - sitting on their eggs
A Sooty Tern, snapped as it flew overhead.

Will post more as I go round Oz.
Here in Darwin for the first of my shows in Australia. From here I travel to Cairns and Townsville, but for now spent the day out at Sweets Lagoon, a beautiful remote billabong - as you do. Here's some of the local wildlife and scenery. The eagle shot was taken with the iPhone held up to the binoculars eyepiece- came out not too bad. Will post more as I travel round.
Thanks to all the good...
