The other day I stood at the Dundas station waiting to go north on the Yonge line for nearly 30 minutes until there was a train with enough room for me to get on with my stuff what do they mean it's gonna reach capacity by 2031? It's 2017. It's full already. This likely explains why transit is such a mess in Toronto because politicians can't do math. I would hate to see what it would actually look like in 14 years if nothing was done until then.

$6.8B for the relief line.
$3B+ for the one stop Scarborough extension.
How about we scrap the ridiculous 1 stop and run the relief line west and back up to Dundas West?
How about a sorely needed lake shore line serving the beaches all the way across through leslieville, DT, liberty village and onwards to Etobicoke.
Toronto, take all the red tape and studies upon studies and shove em up your ass. Just build the damn Subway line!

This might be Toronto's best greasy spoon
7 likes - 4 comments
Been eating here for 20+ years back when a plate of bacon and eggs with home fries and toast cost $3.95. Even with management changes throughout the years, the quality remains the same. There is no other greasy spoon in the city that serves big, thick and crispy bacon like they do.
Also, it is on the East York side of the border with Scarborough, so it is not in a Scarborough strip mall as written in the blog.

Its evil. I know this is way back when but I paid 35.00 per week for a lovely 3rd floor apt on Parkside Drive overlooking High Park. in the early 70's - its not attainable now for so many. Sad face.

if this grosses you out, then think of all the times, you were in a store trying clothes on, and who ever tried the same thing before you, and if they had taken a bath/shower, the day or two before ......... or if the person even bathed at all ........ :)

No thanks! Health studies have shown there are 0 benefits to long distance running over regular walking. In fact, one is WAY MORE unhealthy.
there are lots of ravine trails within the city that are better suited for a run why do people have to be inconvenienced by closing roads?
More road closures downtown?
That's fun, we definitely need more of these! Otherwise it would make too much sense 😂

Rachel Tanner if you get time to do this while James is in town do it! The event only happens once a year and you get access to buildings people don't normall get to see

Can't believe this is being replaced by another pharmacy because we don't already have enough of them downtown. Crazy! A corner commercial space by Dundas square with a patio will be a pharmacy, no words!
