So Eli Roth didn't just produce a movie called CLOWN where the dude becomes a clown that eats kids? Come on directors you need to be original and stop reusing the same bullshit ideas
today at 08:18
Christ. Hollywood whores out everything until it's boring.
Vampires, werewolves, zombies, demons, witches....and now anything that "eats children".
In that order, too.

It's one of the greatest superhero films ever, and shows you don't need action, tons of CGI and explosions to make it work. The Sixth Sense overshadows it, but it is in actual fact his best film to date, and is criminally underrated.

He did the last one, him and Gunn are buddies I don't see why he wouldn't do it again.
I wish... I wish Rob Zombie would go back to making music instead of making sub-par films.
That's great and all, but Gunn is a WAY better director than Zombie. He needs to go back to "singing" about witches, reapers and skeletons and shit. I am sorry, but his flicks are horrible

Wicked. One of my favorites I got to see in the theatre, and it holds up well to this day. Plus I had the hots for Jamie Gertz after seeing it (most blokes I knew did haha). She reminded me a lot of Alyssa Milano, my very first actress crush.

I think having Castlevania animated makes the most logical sense for this series. Doing a live action Netflix series about Dracula with top notch special effects would be too costly.

This whole time I thought this was a live action show. Now I'm even more excited. Poster looks like the Castlevania I know and love.

Michael Coleman, Peter Hignett. I'm really liking the thinking behind this. Looks like it could be good. Franco's good as dead already though, methinks. The Walter android will probably make sure of that. Loved the little Alien reference too with the crew-member choking on her food. Would love it to be a double bluff though and Walter has already fucked them all over somehow, and he was 'saving' her to cover up the truth of whats there or something.

Not sure what the point of this is? The casting goes from unknown to questionable. Not sure how this fits into the Alien World either? Feasts before or after cryosleep aren't anything new. Just didn't see anything fresh or exciting in this.

Goddamnit. I want to support this movie so bad. Loved the first two; cheeseball throwback horror flicks. But as long as Victor Salva is attatched, i wont be giving any money to that child rapist. He should've been chemically castrated in the 80's
02/22/2017 at 22:24
The one thing I can't understand is jeepers creepers 1 and 2 came out almost 15 years after his crimes, why didn't those films get the hype about his crimes the way this one is?

Number one and two yes. I thought the other day why isn't there a sequel to dawn of the dead remake. It probably was one of the best remakes in the history of horror. Next to evil dead.
A sequel to the Relic? Hell Yes! That was a great monster movie (1997). Supposedly they had planned a sequel which would have been based on the novel Reliquary by Lincoln and Child the writers of Relic. But it never happened. A Damn shame!

"George Romero’s Dead Movies" No. Just no. Have you seen the last three films he made? Land was mediocre at best, Diary and Survival were just embarrasing. I'd much rather have a sequel to 28 Days Later written by Garland and directed by Boyle.

Resident Evil 2 2.0
02/22/2017 at 18:45
Looks really promising, actually, but it's hardly a throwback to the 90s horror games. In fact, it closer resembles a mid 2000s horror game. A step in the right direction, I guess, but yeah, the writer of the article seems to be quite misinformed about what Survival Horror games actually were like in the 90s, least of all in the late 80s.
02/22/2017 at 22:50
Except in 90s survival horror the protagonists weren't usually what appears to be some sort of spec ops team member. But missing fuses, they nailed that. 😜
But if the price is right, it still could be good.

Lights Out was great, I trust Sanberg and James Wan as a producer. Flanagan took that garbage called Ouija and made a really good sequel, horror franchises csn be redeemed with good talents behind the camera.
02/22/2017 at 17:15
Can someone please tell me what the big deal is about Lights Out? One of the most painful horror films I've sat through, definition of cliche and generic. Love Sandberg's shorts but what a mess.
02/22/2017 at 17:08
After his short, and lights out, being awesome, i know Sandberg has some great horror vision. He will have to add several different innovative dynamics and a ton of creativity to make sure it will not be as abhorrently bad as the first though. I believe he can do it, but it will take a lot of work.

I remember the rumors of the film having two different endings when it first came out. I always thought that was a huge missed opportunity second to FvJvA.
02/22/2017 at 00:52
And that’s not even the craziest idea in Briggs’ script, which began in the 17th century and eventually pit Freddy and Jason up against one another… in Hell. Who was going to show up down there? Satan himself (named Thanos in the script), who was going to be revealed to be the master of both Freddy and Jason; they’ve just been his pawns this whole time, Briggs conceived. Not sure they can use the name Thanos, lol.

02/21/2017 at 17:11
Guys... Lets get real, ok? Hellboy 3 is not happening because it does not make part in any huge cinematic universe. This shit is the trend of today, and any, and I mean ANY superheroes that have no cinematic universes to enter will have their movies cancelled until this trend dies. The Spawn movie surely is headind to tv for the same reason, unfortunely.
