Did anyone really think The Final Chapter would really be the last? I mean Friday the 13th pulled that twice.

Oh god no!! I have coasterphobia due to a childhood experience so I am terrified of roller coasters. A roller coaster trap would blow my mind!!!

If kanye west wearing a metal shirt somehow accidentally influences a youngster to try some metal out, then I'm all for it.

Don't care much for him but all you fucking butthurt metalheads need to get over yourselves. Maybe, JUST maybe, he actually likes them! What a shock!

A band doesnt want one of the biggest most recognized stars in the world to advertise them for free. Like him or not, seems a little douchy to me

My hope is that Andre’ Toulon has a focused character. They made him (and the puppets) into a hero, but they were monsters in the first two films.
03/25/2017 at 15:21
Since this title is super misleading, this is NOT a remake. It in no way remakes the plot of the first film and is its own story. It's a sequel, just made by a different film company.
The last 5 sequels or so were horrid. A bigger budget reboot is welcomed. Studios should reboot franchises like this that are in need of repair.

I would understand if it was a sequel, but a remake? I would not want to be the one casting to replace Kurt Russell, Ernest Borgnine, and Isaac Hayes.
03/25/2017 at 00:44
And who will wear the eyepatch? Channing Tatum or Bautista or some other God awful actor why not just do a sequel with an older tougher plissken busting skulls
03/25/2017 at 01:06
Sure! Why not!? Please continue to NOT make original movies. All of this supposed talent in Hollywood and all we get are remakes. Geesh

Whatever happened to the Boom Comics Hellraiser series? I lost track of it a while back after they changed the name 55 times and the web doesn't have any details if it's still being published or where the story went.
03/24/2017 at 19:33
Some people may think I'm crazy but I'd like to see them do an animated series of films that way Clive could do whatever he wanted without the restraints of live action. I would be in line to buy these
03/25/2017 at 08:02
I'm happy for it, but Hellraiser has been in anthology form plenty of times. You have the Checker series, which are collected, and have some actually good tales in it. There's a few phoned in portions, but a few are solid. The Boom series was interesting and especially given Barker's connection to it, with the main plus Dark Watch.

Hopefully it won't turn out great for the first five episodes. Then completely prolapse for the other eight. Sorta like Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Both barely watchable in the later episodes. *UPDATE* I guess it's a movie. Not a series. My bad.
03/24/2017 at 19:32
Netflix series start great and then turn into giant piles of goo. Except for Daredevil, but even there several episode were just fillers.
03/25/2017 at 00:51
Gen Urobuchi is one of the best writers for animated series! This will probably be very emotional with a lot of twists and turns. I'm so excited for this! It should be amazing! He hasn't produced bad work in my opinion, even if it's a Netflix exclusive.

I worked in a video store back in the 80's. We had a great horror section. There's nothing like picking up the boxes and reading the descriptions on the back. And the cover art was fantastic! Picking out a movie on Netflix is just not the same:(
03/24/2017 at 13:57
I have very fond memories of going to the video store back in the day. For the most part, unless recommended by a friend, every rental was a gamble. All you had to go on was cover art, the synopsis and the listed credits (actors, director, writer etc.). The not so fond memories are when you had something in mind and it was already rented.

Friday night in the summer. pick up a copy of Aliens, IT, and event horizon. Pick out either a PlayStation or N64 game, some stovetop popcorn, soda, and Butterfinger BBs.

I was just thinking about them a few minutes ago. They're a band who truly loves the entire product, right down to the artwork. It will be a loss for their artistic side in a way but a whole new type of exposure in another.
03/24/2017 at 00:18
This sucks but Tool need to move with the times, so I can see why they would move to streaming, Besides, the hardcore fans, like myself, will end up buying the physical albums as well. Gotta get me that Jones/Gray artwork.

You gonna bark all day, little doggy? Or are you gonna show us a trailer?
03/23/2017 at 17:41
That one image has killed all interest in this film for me. Seriously, in the TV movie, Pennywise at least looked somewhat goofy, which negated the unnerving aspects and made some sort of sense out of Georgie trusting him. That picture is the exact opposite. No kid would go near that thing. It's eyes make it look like a crazed alcoholic all on its own, and it doesn't even feel like a clown.
03/23/2017 at 16:14
I think if this adaptation has the stamp of approval from Stephen himself, no one commenting here should doubt whether the film will be good or not.

While this was brilliantly pieced together, i still believe that Covenant will still be its own film and not what everyone calls a rehash of Alien. Sure they'll be some homages and similarities, but Covenant is going to have a way more complex, detailed, and unraveling story with David's experimenting, the mystery of Shaw, and the engineers. Alien was a classic and Covenant looks to be fantastic, but people really need to stop calling it a rehash judging from the trailers. Just wait and see.
03/23/2017 at 06:09
Nerd culture can be so dumb sometimes though. I say this fully knowing I'm a nerd. But seriously, why would somebody put so many hours of thought into making what's ultimately a rehashed trailer of a trailer that's from

10 years after the original? I don't know...those kind of sequels usually don't do well. It's kinda like a video game that spends more than 5 years in development.

Overdue, with all the movies that should not have sequels this is a diamond in the rough.
