We are proud to stand with the people of Manchester in remembrance of those who lost their lives and were affected by the attack at Manchester Arena.

It is difficult to put into words what our officers, who were amongst the first on the scene at the devastating attack, saw and experienced, and we know that their horror and hurt is shared by our colleagues in the emergency services, and by...

Our thoughts and sympathies are with all those affected by the horrific incident at Manchester Arena last night.

It is incredibly disappointing that despite repeated warnings, some people chose to risk their lives and the lives of others by going onto the railway tracks to view the Flying Scotsman over the weekend.

Incidents were reported along the line, with significant disruption near to Cam and Dursley railway station in Gloucestershire.

Officers attended this station at around 8.40pm after reports...

At BTP we have many officers and staff who are Harry Potter fans, so when we see visitors at the Glenfinnan viaduct taking photos of the famous Hogwarts Express landmark, we share their enthusiasm.

However, most of these visitors, as far as we are aware, do not have any magical powers, so if they wander onto the railway track, there is nothing to protect them from being injured or killed by a...

This man assaulted paramedics who were trying to help his friend, flicked blood at a member of rail staff and racially abused a doctor.

He has now been sentenced to six months in prison for his crimes.

Maxim Kramer, 25, of no fixed abode, was removed from a train when it arrived at Brockenhurst station as he was in First Class without a ticket.

He was with his friend, who fell and cut his...

Best of luck to our very own PD Storm and PC Martin who compete at the National Police Dog Trials this weekend!

The trials see officers and their four legged friends tackle a number of operational areas including tracking and catching criminals.

PD Storm and PC Martin are based up in Scotland and can regularly be found sniffing out baddies (Storm, not PC Martin)…though this weekend,...

A member of staff was slapped forcibly around the face by a man at Westcliff-on-Sea in Essex.

He struck her so hard, his victim's glasses were knocked off and she received a cut to her nose.

We're now looking to trace this man in connection. Do you know who he is? If so, drop us a text to 61016 quoting reference 49 of 15/05/2017.

This was a pretty stupid idea.

Someone put a bunch of road signs on the tracks near Yeoford in Devon. A train ran over them at speed, a disaster was narrowly avoided.

We're now appealing for information. Did you see anyone acting suspiciously around the railway near Yeoford during the early hours on Monday (15) morning?

Drop us a text to 61016 - you could help us catch the person...
