The remains of a First World War soldier found in France have been identified as Sergeant James Alexander Milne, a member of the 10th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. Another set of Canadian remains found close by remain unidentified at this time. The Special Operations Complex Terrain Course (SOCT) consists of 52 training days in the Rocky Mountains. The course teaches SOCT operators to lead climb in vertical rock and high alpine environments. The course also covers self-rescue and casualty rescue in these environments.
