Absolutely top class photograph, good show, marvelously well done and splendid, especially that Walker fellow. It's astonishing and i must say i find his gaze directly into the camera to be rather disturbing if not unnerving i do confess. Having said all that it does seem however that this depiction of these peasant like figures seems fitting when hearing the barbarous lyrics that can be heard when playing their so called metal music or what ever it may bee... oh dear. Smashing!

I sent a letter to the editor on Sunday morning about this. The odds of them printing it are about the same as Adele doing a cover of Thrasher's Abbatoir.

Monotonous palate, murky spectrum, grimly unlimited
Food for thought, so prolific
In contrasting shades, forcely fed
Abstraction, so choking, so provocative

You know this was one of my friends favorite newer albums that came out, right before he died. I think about that whenever I see the cover or listen to it. His name was Zac Bickler
02/23/2017 at 10:33
Maybe they figured no Carcass fan reads their magazine. Be that as it may, will they get a result as good without the saws and cleavers? Remains to be seen.

You guys sound live just as you do studio recording well done....
This video reminds me of the night when I watched this song playing live in Shanghai, I just got crazy at first hearing of it and felt so lucky...It's my favorite song in Surgical Steel ,but it seemed to have never been put into setllist before then so I had never expected to see it played...

Archive: The Story Behind Carcass' Heartwork

Necroticism is still the pinnacle of your achievements as a band if you ask me. I love that album! Who had the idea to name the guitar solos? Stroke of genius.
Łukasz Alex Bukowski
Necroticism is far better than Heartwork. Heartwork is almost a commercial release. Carcass' Black Album. Ok, maybe I am overreacting a bit. But still think Necroticism is the essential Carcass record. It's brutal and technical. Indeed, progressive but still very heavy.
Heartwork is still a beast and the remaster was worth the cost of admission. Great band, one of metal's precious British gems.

Damn, that swansong baseball shirt is sadly only in medium... I bought a large on that tour and it fit real small so it's just sat in the closet forever.. :/ I want another one lol.
I still have mine from the october 93 Hearthwork tour... A green longsleeve with that piramide on the back and the tourdates on the sleeves...
What about the White " wake up n smell the carcass" t shirt with jfks head on it ?

Carcass was the best band on board the 70k! they love their fans and their fans LOVE THEM!!! Both shows were awesome! You are the best 🤘🏻 greetings from Mexico 😘
It would be a very good thing if you could come to New Zealand.
