Today was quad focus day and I absolutely LOVE the new hack squat at @rippedgymbasildon i am still weaker on quads than hamstrings and glutes as I have only been training quads for just over a year as I did not need anymore size when I was in figure. I managed 12, 10 reps which is the heaviest I've done so far so pretty happy with myself, but I've still got along way to go to reach the girl...

Glute hyper extensions. To perform these correctly you need to lock you heels in firmly and place all the weight through your heels, with you balls of your feet up so they are not on the platform, focus on keeping full tension on the way down, pushing your hips back as you would a Romanian deadlift and squeeze Glutes hard on the way up. I'm using a band here to make the exercise even harder....

My 4th exercise for hamstrings/Glutes was elevated smiths lunge/step ups. I love these because they really hit the hams and glutes hard and being a single leg movement you can work on strengthening your weaker side
