A Target store is creating a more toned down shopping experience to benefit those with autism and other developmental disabilities. The store will be quieter than normal and bright lights will be dimmed to relax the building during what is usually a very hectic shopping time.
WBBM Newsradio's broadcasting live from Woodfield Mall today for the 21st Annual Good Neighbor's Telethon in support of The Salvation Army Bed & Bread Club, which battles hunger and homelessness in the Chicago area.
“Very important for the kids to get vaccinated. The other things are good hand-washing. If someone is sick – especially a child – really best, if possible, to keep them home from school,” said Dr. Robert Feldman, an emergency room physician at Stroger Hospital.
