Big changes behind the scenes after latest ICC - International Cricket Council meetings, and Pakistan supporters could be the real winner

BCCI are not bigger than the game. The ICC need to stand up to the BCCI.
If the BCCI decide to not comply and stay away from International Cricket, than so be it. For too long they have tried to control International Cricket to suit themselves. The introduction of a window for the IPL, the demands that every second World Cup should be on Indian soil, and how they treated all nations other than England and Australia are prime examples. All nations deserve to have India hosting and visiting them equally.
Not happy with the decision. On a serious note ICC should pay more money to India so that they can make toilets there.
Here all indians are committing like they got salary from BCCI and now they will not get it... come on people you as a cricket fan should support cricket not care about money thats shows how much indian love cricket... now please don't bring spot fixing or other stupid topics here..

Apparently Steve Smith can't play 20/20 cricket. That's why Kohli is king. Don't see his name anywhere here.

He has changed his game and his mindset a lot in last few years. He looks so calm on field while batting. I started following him since he debuted for KKR in IPL couple of years back and took an amazing overhead catch. You could see an emerging talent. His couple of performances have been brilliant in BBL too. Hope he becomes consistent performer and shines for Australia.
If he gets a chance to wear the baggy green, either Khawaja or Handscomb will miss their opportunity to wear the baggy green further. Now Lynn is 27 and he has to wait another three or four years until a slot of the Australian test batting line up will create in future.

He gets the job done...at suitably good run rate of format and as consistant as ever anywhere and everywhere. 50 Test at Average of 61 with strike rate 56. Cant complain. 54 Matches 20 Hundreds and 20 Fifties. SPECIAL BATSMAN!! ODI Average of 43. With 8 hundred 15 50s in 95 games. Thats a 50 every 4th or 5th game.
He's right. Very similar to Katich. A little bit more movement but if you want to compare his technique to anyone else's, Simon Katich is the man. He should have played a lot more tests. Pranav Ramakanthan
yesterday at 11:41
A lot of bowlers fancied their chances with his unorthodox technique /shuffle....However it.has been working as his average conclusively proves in both formats of the game.....A enviable record considering that he continues his prolific run even after taking charge as the captain of the Australian team ...A lot of credit should be given to Smith for the turnaround in the Australian team's fortune under his.charge...

So with Ellen's logic having one guy who can bowl at 145km an hour is a weapon, but against a team who will have 3/4 guys who can do the same, if not better; this won't be an issue because they would have practiced for it... Right. Got it.

Don't worry Australia will add Joe Root to the plethora of International captains that quit after getting demolished in Australia.

Ryan harris was a cut above the current stocks but Hazelwood is stepping it up the more he plays. If they could play pattinson instead of the inevitable marsh brother and have hazelwood bird and starc...that is going to be a line up that will be unrelenting

Ponting was picked in a wrong time by the Mumbai team. When he was being picked already Ponting was only one step behind to reach into the fourth decade in his life.
Ponting had retired from cricket and he hasn't had the talents he showed previously.

With the bat correct he's only averaged 17 since the 2015 World Cup. Bowling average has been fairly good though around 30. However his form isn't enough to justify him keeping a spot over a more specialist bowler who can bat. Hastings has been better with the bat than Faulkner since the 2015 World Cup and is a better bowler too.

I feel sorry for Faulks, I feel as an all-rounder he brings more to the table then Marsh, in terms of runs and variations with the ball.

Bcci is asking for their right and 70 ℅share belongs to them and they are rightful in demanding so.If BCCI pulls out there will be huge loss for ICC because 80℅ of their revenue is coming from indian fans.
And haters STFU.
04/26/2017 at 12:47
The deadline was April 25th, India didn't have a squad put in, in my opinion if you don't have the squad list in by the deadline you don't get to play in the competition, just because the BCCI is chucking a tantrum over money they are thinking of not playing, what ever happened to play a sport for just the love of the game? There is too much money and politics involved!!

Kick them out of the ct17 ask west indies to announce a squad the most entertaining team with inclusion of pollard narine and badree they looks good only this is the way to teach bcci a good lesson who are always greedy for money will see how they can generate the money when team like australia england stop playing in Endia #kickEndiaoutofct17

04/26/2017 at 09:10
He was only inquiring about how that was not given a wide, to be fair it was a tight decision but Rohit didn't show any dissent.
Umpiring this ipl has been appalling and some umpires also needs to be fined
04/26/2017 at 10:31
I think Rohit didnt moved much it was a wide,if in case if it had been given wide even pune would have accepted it as it looked from there faces in the field,

Flintoff reveals his big Ashes mistake

Flintoff unbalanced English side playing at six - most of the time his batting wasn't up to it - in 2006-07 they dropped a perfectly decent keeper (read) and spinner (panesar) to compensate for flintoffs dodgy batting
04/26/2017 at 22:40
All of his team mates are now wondering which of the 4 or 5 he thought shouldn't have been there. But on that tour England seemed to believe that they had to turn up to win on the back of the English reaction to the 2005 series. They were devastated losing in Adelaide after declaring at 550 odd and they never recovered

He is a brilliant middle over prospect for the aussies in test for years to come. He is just superb, that knock to save the test in Ranchi was one of the best I have seen.

That's why West Indies cricket wont get any better lack of discipline and proper education both on field and off. Test cricket is 50% or even more a mental battle if ur brain is filled with nothing how can u even win a test game !!?? West Indies getting worst and worst each time.
04/26/2017 at 06:28
This action is to be strictly outlawed, but why 50% of his match payment. With the West Indies, that's about $2.50, so a match suspension would be felt more !!
