I saw some of these hanging in my sweet grandmothers home for over 40 years. I always loved the one of Jesus, his hands folded in prayer looking up at the evening sky. Looked so real.❤

Yes I knew that his paintings were created through his own image he had in his heart. I think his paintings would resemble a soft gentle face of love and because we have seen these pictures often they do imprint in our mind that is what he must appear to look like. When we try to think in other images he could be they would more than likely be quite close in this image. He is beautiful!

In the region he was born, his complexion would have been darker, not white with blue eyes, which I have seen many pictiures but okay. However, evolutions,, where he was born, would show him to be darker skinned and not blue eyed with light skin.

Never get married to someone who doesn't share your faith. It isn't worth it in the long run and you end up not having a very strong spiritual marriage. Even if you both are saved, make sure you have your convictions and same church in order before marriage!!!

Yes it is. You can never be happy because you can't share the same beliefs in our God. God says "Don't be unequally yolked together. " and I believe He means every word of that.

Sad but true. There are FEW that missionary date and it has succeeded - where the person got saved and they ended up in ministry together. That is the exception and hardly ever happens.

Woke up at 9, made a great spinach/cheese omelet for myself hunny's and by breakfast. Two of my dear and special friends came over to spend time creating and sharing our sewing skills. We shared a nice lunch I made for us, continued sewing, talking and sharing life stories, thanking God for each other and other blessings. Had an amazing dinner made by my hunny, and got the most wonderful news. I will be a great grandmother once more (#4!) In the fall. Sooo, that was my day. And yours?
Yes. I had wonderful conversations with friends on FB and on the phone and with my daughter. Time reading and studying the Bible. Doing laundry and cooking dinner. It was sunny then snowed then the sun came out and melted the snow.

4 Worst Compliments You Can Give Your Kids

I do not like to tell my children they are "smart" because I feel like it's too objective/subjective. Everyone learns differently. I do praise them for studying hard, trying their best, accomplishing goals, etc. But I do avoid using the term "you're so smart" as the implied alternative if they don't succeed would be "stupid" and that is not something I would never want my children to think or feel.
Parents should always be proud of their children but especially for their accomplishments ! Only compliment your child if they tried hard on doing something good and got a passing grade in it or did a good job with it ! Thanks
yesterday at 01:23
Good insight. I never thought about how some of this could negatively impact my children. I will definitely try to pay more attention.

I don't look at others and wonder what I'm doing wrong! I'm exactly where God wants me and I'm really enjoying my single life! After the hellacious marriage I had to a so called Christian, peace at home is the ultimate gift!! And then there's my grands, church family, Bible study, community outreach, my garden, girls night...You get the picture. Right now, I don't have the time nor energy to date!!

I would like to AUTHOR for US Single Men, since WE don't get noticed or overlooked in our struggles. Yes there are plenty of US out there that need to speak up to help each other, not to blend in what SOCIETY now calls Men.....
02/23/2017 at 23:18
Excellent article. I love my singleness and see it as a gift. I feel special in the fact that is the Lord has separated me from all of this. It gives me peace. He provides and meets all my needs. Many wonder how I can do without. Without what? I am truly full and complete in Him and clean. Not perfect. But I have found no other love and care from any other but Him. Praise God. This is an excellent read. :-) :-) :-)
