Consequently, Columbia University awarded Dr. Pixley Ka Isaka Seme with its highest oratorical honour, the George William Curtis Medal.
In 1906, a 26-year-old Pixley Ka Isaka Seme delivered his award-winning speech “The Regeneration of Africa” at Columbia University.
