After four years of patient saving (and a whole lot of kindness from strangers when his story went viral), Aiden was able to get the medical service dog he'd wanted since being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

Any kid with type 1 diabetes should get their needles and insulin and alcohol wipes and blood testing equipment and a support dog and a medicalert bracelet free!

This will so help his parents feel more secure about him! I have a Boston who's basically trained herself to alert me when I have a low blood sugar and she literally saved my life a while back. Before her, I had a mini schnauzer who trained herself, too - she caught my lows before I did, too. Neither of them had outside training but I have had a strong connection with each of them - neither of them has ever been wrong in their alerts, for which I am so profoundly grateful.
That is a patient young man.....knows what he wants and does what he has to. Well done!
