We welcomed almost 28 million passengers last year, which is equivalent to more than four times the population of Ireland.

Passenger numbers were up 11% to a record 27.9 million, with growth across almost all sectors of the business.

Short-haul traffic was up 11% to 24.3 million last year, while long-haul passenger numbers increased by 12% to more than 3.6 million.

We were one of the fastest growing major airports in Europe in November, according to new data from airports group ACI Europe.

Passenger traffic at Dublin increased by 9.1% in November making it the fourth fastest growing large airport in Europe.

Only Moscow Sheremetyevo, Paris Orly and Barcelona had more passenger growth than Dublin in November.
London's our most popular destination and is a great spot for a weekend break at any time of the year.

It's all so quiet, it's all so still
Here's a message from the Big Man himself after he dropped by the airport very late last night after all the children had gone to bed.
We've had the busiest Christmas ever here at Dublin Airport. 30 musical groups performed throughout the week welcoming passengers home for the festivities. It was the turn of The Dublin Gospel Choir this morning, who delighted passengers and the friends and families who came to greet them.

We thank you for your continued support and wish you all a very Happy Christmas.
We have a very special arrival just before midnight, but all the children need to be in bed first.
The approach to Dublin Airport from the east over Howth and Sutton is spectacular.
