A WOMAN who killed her lodger after a row over £21 has been convicted of murder.
Julie Gowling, 44, stabbed Charlene Walker, 36, last December following a disagreement at a property in Louisa Street, Darlington.
Yesterday Gowling was found guilty following a trial at Teesside Crown Court. She must serve a minimum of 14 years.
