Yesterday, we held off an attack on health care – and it happened because of you, and people like you, fighting back in Massachusetts and all across this country. But we cannot let down our guard. Listen to what I told people at a town hall at Framingham State University last night about how this fight isn't over.

When the Republicans say they want to repeal health care for 24 million people on Thursday, they need to explain this.

Tonight I’m joining Democratic Party Chairman Tom Perez and Deputy Chairman Keith Ellison for a conversation about how we can keep fighting back against Donald Trump's reckless agenda. Watch live now.

The nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch is a huge gift to the millionaires, billionaires, and giant corporations who have stolen a Supreme Court seat in order to make sure the justice system works for them. We cannot stand down while the President hands our highest court over to the highest bidder. That is why I will oppose Judge Gorsuch's nomination.
When Justice Antonin Scalia died, giant corporations and their right-wing buddies spent millions of dollars to keep the Supreme Court seat open so Donald Trump could appoint a replacement. Judge Neil Gorsuch has a long, detailed record that shows he cares more about corporations than women, workers, consumers, and families in Massachusetts and across the country. This morning I joined NARAL...

Great new book out: Ganesh Sitaraman’s new book, The Crisis of the Middle-Class Constitution, shows that the disappearing American dream is more than a policy problem – it is a constitutional crisis. If you're interested in how generations of Americans fought to save our republic from the threat of economic inequality and why we must do so again, I highly recommend it.

The Crisis of the Middle-Class Constitution: Why Economic Inequality Threatens Our Republic

About 1 in 5 Americans have a disability. Because of Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act, people like Shane, Caroline, and Andréa are able to get access to care and services so they can be active in their communities. But the American Health Care Act – the reckless plan from President Trump and Speaker Ryan – would slash Medicaid by $880 billion and take coverage away from 24 million people,...

Had an incredible Saturday night seeing the one and only James Earl Jones, Bill Heck, Dana Delany and the rest of the amazing cast of The Night of the Iguana, the Tennessee Williams play being performed right here at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge.
Today would have been Senator Ted Kennedy’s 85th birthday, and not a day goes by in Massachusetts that we don’t miss his leadership, his passion, and his commitment to fighting for working families. Senator Kennedy called his work on health care reform “the great cause of his life.” He knew it wouldn’t be easy, but he said: “We can’t afford to wait, and we can’t afford to fail.” I can think of...

Today I stand in solidarity with “A Day Without Immigrants” protesters. #ImmigrantsFeedAmerica, and immigrants make our country strong.
My mother was born on February 14, and she loved her special connection to Valentine’s Day. When I was a little girl, I bought some heart-shaped pans at the dime store. I still have my heart-shaped pans – and even though my mother is gone now, I still bake a heart-shaped cake every Valentine’s Day to remember her. But this year, I’m doing something more: I’m fighting for the Affordable Care...

Tonight I'll be talking with Trevor Noah about Mitch McConnell's scheme to stop me from reading Coretta Scott King's letter on the floor of the Senate. Tune in!
Washington works great for the rich and the powerful, but it’s not working for everyone else. And it’s not because of some inevitable force of nature, like gravity – it’s because of decades of deliberate policy choices to help those at the top. Our middle class is on the ropes, and Donald Trump is looking to deliver the knockout punch. At this moment in history, it’s time to fight back. That’s...

This Fight Is Our Fight by Elizabeth Warren

When my daughter Amelia was growing up, I was a Brownie leader. On Tuesday afternoons, I had a dozen little girls show up at our house to work on earning their badges. In fact, my last serious attempt at raising money before I ran for the Senate in 2011 was serving as cookie chair for one of her troops when she got older.

So I was delighted to meet Sylvia Acevedo, the CEO of the Girl Scouts,...

Our country is in crisis – but that crisis didn’t begin with the election of Donald Trump. We were already in a crisis because for years and years and years, Washington has worked just great for the rich and the powerful, but far too often, it hasn’t worked for anyone else. The excuses end now.

Today I spoke to members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and told them: It’s time for...
