The day I found out I was expecting twins I was the one shouting omg nooo, your lieing to Me. My partner sat there silent with his mouth wide open in shock. It took afew days for it to sink in, nobody believed me I had to show my Mom the notes!
This is freaky though afew days before I went for my scan I had a dream I was given a twin scan picture :-O

The day I found out I was having twins I was on my own (Keith not allowed time off work) .. after the radiographer told me there were two babies she then looked around for a third! ! No wonder I had blood pressure problems for the next week!

Christina Routledge and Georgina Routledge this would totally be me if either of you had twins, I'd definitely be jealous too though lol xx

I would recommend people read around caesarean delivery as the classes they give at the hospital only cover "natural" birth or a straightforward birth. I don't think we were properly prepared for what happened because we didn't read enough.

Its not nice when things don't go as planned but the hospital do look after you and take you through it step by step.

This has made me feel so much less alone. Struggling with tiredness anyway and then super painful hips all through the night is not helping. Still 12 weeks to go... am wondering how I will get through it!
Haha I wake up in agony with my hips about 6 times a night and each time i have to roll is like a12-point-turn! Only 33 weeks I don't know how much longer I can cope 😂😬 x

Bad skin, morning sickness, craving sweet things, moody ALL the time, sleeping on the right, no headaches, Mayan and Chinese calendar both and all other symptoms indicating a girl... but we're having a little boy!🤷🏼♀😌
01/22/2017 at 16:02
No heartburn at all with this little BEAUT! Definitely seems to have been an old wives time! Absolutely horrendous heartburn the on en route Tho 😳
01/22/2017 at 16:07
Bicarbonate is soda in a bowl or tub and pour some of your pee on it if it fizzes like opening a bottle of cola then it's a wee boy if there's no fizz then your having a wee girl! I've got a boy and a girl on the way and it worked both times for me 😊 also my little boys heartbeat sounded like a train and my girls didn't it sounded totally different xx

Advice on what your baby's cry may mean

Every baby is different and it takes time to known and understand your baby and what it's cry means, you're not a bad parent if you can't work it out as sometimes babies cry because they just want to x
01/22/2017 at 12:39
And if you've done all these and it still isn't working, remember you're not a crap parent. Some babies just cry for the sake of it. My 6 week old does quite often and we work our way through the lists of reasons for it and if they don't work, he gets settled as much as I can and put down to doze off with his dream sheep. Only so much a parent can do.

Brocolli was our first food. Baby Led Weaning is so much easier. They learn to feed themselves and they learn to chew so it reduces the chances of choking.

The only advice I would give is to always keep in mind that what ever "birthing plan" you have (we didn't even have one lol) is to always be flexible as sometimes things change or the pool become unavailable etc so don't set your mind on anything!! When the time comes relax, stay calm and listen to your body as it already knows what to do!! All the best to everyone excepting it will be amazing xxxxxx

I had a waterbirth 5 days ago with my 3rd baby and honestly can't recommend it enough. It was an amazing natural experience and made my labour much easier, I was able to listen to my body and deliver her much easier (she was born with 3 pushes), then to bring her out of the water into the world was incredible.
01/21/2017 at 16:07
Best decision I made. Very relaxing & soothing (as much as is poss during labour ☺) baby was very calm when she came out; no crying & very alert with open eyes. If it's possible & pool is available I definitely recommend. Baby no. 2 due less than two weeks will be having a pool birth again if I can ☺

As much as it's painful I actually like being in labour and giving birth so a really quick one would be disappointing for me 😆 I've had a 3 hour labour start to finish but felt cheated lol (I've also had a 3 day one which was tooooo long haha) think 6-7 hours is good :)
01/21/2017 at 19:29
My lo was 2 hrs 20 mins from waking in bed to baby born in hospital. We were still in the examination room having not reached a birthing room. And far too late for pain relief. Luckily I'd taken two paracetamol before we left the house!
01/21/2017 at 12:44
I went from having my first contraction, getting to hospital and giving birth to my little boy all within 60 minutes! There was no time for any pain relief 😀

My little girl was so tiny she fell off the chart when she was a few months old! She was just always very active and hubby's side of the family is very slim. She's nearly 5 now and perfectly in proportion 😊
01/22/2017 at 17:27
My son was born at 42+1 on the 4th centile, he was small throughout my pregnancy, by 7mths he was on the 91st centile just shows you how it can change he was breastfed x
01/21/2017 at 16:45
It might be worth noting that the centile charts are based on weight gain for formula fed babies, who tend to gain weight on a slightly different curve to breastfed babies.

I got to 36 weeks before I felt my pregnancy was dragging from then on. I thought my Emily was going to come between Christmas and New Year last year but we got to my due date on 7th January 2017 and from then, it dragged even SLOWER! I had Emily on the 15th and could not be happier that I am finally the mummy I've always wanted to be. She is now 6 days old and so beautiful. She is doing fantastic! 💖💖
01/21/2017 at 09:09
I am being induced tomorrow night at 37+4 and I feel like iv been pregnant for ever hate it when people say not long now and feels like there's about 5 years left to go haha. 40 weeks is far to long to be pregnant haha
01/22/2017 at 02:32
Lol absolutely. I'm 30w +1 and it's been dragging since I started losing alot of sleep in December continuing to now. I can't wait for my boy to arrive. There's only so much lack of sleep, pelvic pain, emotional outbursts one can handle lol but that said I'm glad I've got the chance to experience pregnancy just can't wait to experience motherhood now. All the best to the mums to be x
