So here it is the ICC Champions Trophy winning squad. We are very excited to see a return for Mark Wood to the squad his pace and power could be the real difference in the competition. Also because he is a bloody good bloke and fairly Barmy himself!

Good to see Gary Ballance bounce back to form with another big innings, this time a double ton not out to save a game that looked totally lost. Just a flat track bully or is he a genuine contender for a test recall and potentially another tour Down Under?

An excellent and insightful documentary into the future of test cricket from our very own Stuart Kemp. Thought provoking and concerning at the same time. Well worth watching.

A summary of the new laws being introduced into the game in October. Some good ones in my opinion, in particular no more runs outs for bouncing bats that are over the crease. It will be interesting to see how quickly the tethering of bails to the stumps filters down to club and junior cricket - it's always been an occupational hazard for all wicketkeepers especially standing up.

A great topic for discussion. I'm not sure I would have Michael Holding in my best ever XI from the 70's onwards. Would look at McGrath or Ambrose and would have personally chosen Lara over Tendulkar. Didn't see Sobers in his prime but his legendary status cannot be questioned. From a later era Sir Richard Hadlee would have to be in the mix and would be added as my 12th man. What's your team...
