We will destroy this knife after it was found by member of the public near to a cricket pitch in #Basildon.

We were handed the weapon – also known as a zombie knife – by a concerned resident who discovered it in bushes close to Mopsies Park on Thursday, July 20.

Warner, 29, is described as being 6ft 2ins and of a large build.

He has links to the #Tendring area.

We are appealing for information to help find a man who has gone missing after arriving at #StanstedAirport.

Martinovs Janis, 29, was due fly to #Guernsey at around 8.30pm on Sunday, July 16, but did not board his plane.

Sc Dan O’Connell has received specialist training so he can work alongside regular officers in the Dog Section. Dan assists on incidents where the expertly trained dog and handler teams are deployed. Tom used to be a car salesman before becoming a constable. He swapped the forecourt for the police yard last year and hasn’t looked back. He says: “It’s a fun and interesting role. Police have found this samurai sword on the back seat of a car in #Loughton during a week-long crackdown on knife crime.

At around 12.30am yesterday (Thursday, July 20), officers pulled over a Ford Focus in Highwood Lane and discovered the weapon.

A man has been jailed for seven years and four months after sexually assaulting a woman following a night out with friends in #Colchester.

Two men have been sentenced to a total of 28 months in prison for offences relating to a burglary in January 2017.

The burglary took place in the early hours of Monday, January 23 at a house in Thrift Green, #Brentwood. Mobile phones, a tablet, wallet and bank cards were stolen.

We want to speak to him about an incident in which two people were assaulted and a dog was attacked.

The victims, a woman aged 29 and a man aged 38, were assaulted at an address in High Road, #Thornwood, in the early hours of July 20.
