#WomenInAgriculture : Meet Ms. Prasanna, a school teacher and a farmer from Madurai, India. She received #TamilNadu Chief Minister's award for high yield of #paddy by adopting System of Rice Intensification (SRI) technique. Using SRI technique, Prasanna was able to cultivate 3,323 kilograms of paddy using 2 kilos of seeds in her 50 cents of farmland.
