New research published yesterday confirms the tiny ‘hobbit’ humanoids that once lived in Asia are not ancestors or even close relatives of modern humans.

Co-author Flinders Professor Mike Lee said:

“We can be 99 per cent sure it’s not related to Homo erectus – and nearly 100 per cent chance it isn’t a malformed Homo sapiens."

Those eligible to donate are being urged to roll up their sleeves from Thursday 13 April to Tuesday 18 April.
