Some 12 homeless families, including over 30 children, were told to go to Garda stations in Dublin on Tuesday night as no other emergency accommodation was available.

We had a very happy fundraiser visit our offices last week, Taylor Kavanagh organised a bake sale a few weeks back and raised €230 for Focus Ireland.

Taylor was delighted to have raised so much for Focus Ireland and we would like to thank her very much.

Thank you & congratulations to St Paul’s, Glengeary, Sunday Club who raised €955.30 for Focus Ireland at their Soup and Roll Lunch in the Parish Centre after the morning service on Sunday 14th May.

According to the latest rent report from Daft.ie, the average rents rose by an average of 13.4% in the first quarter of the year. That means the average monthly rent across Ireland was €1,131, the fourth quarter in a row that a new all-time high has been set.
