You have probably seen pomegranates in store but may not now how to remove the seeds (the fruit) from the outer 'shell': to remove seeds from the fruit, simply slice the fruit in half and turn the fruit over - seeds facing down. Over a bowl, tap the back of the fruit (the skin side) very hard with a spoon. The seeds will dislodge and fall into the bowl, ready for eating!
