As tradition has it - the Fegentri Ladies World Championship for amateur riders had it's final race at Mauritius today during the International Jockeys Weekend.
An amazing crowd in a country where racing is the #1 sport.
The race - and the entire championship - was won by Lara Le Gaey from France.

Did you know champion Beholder is the only horse ever to win both the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and the Breeders' Cup Distaff?

Beholder will try to win the Distaff for the second time on Saturday. Her biggest competitor is likely to be undefeated Songbird, who won last year's Juvenile Fillies and is trying to now win the Distaff as well.
