Remember that day well. Sitting in the great southern stand loving every minute of our drought breaking premiership. And no I didn't feel one bit of sympathy for our opponents.

Not a vote for Duncs surprises me a lot. I had him as BOG. I didn't expect everyone to agree but no votes? No cheap possessions in what he did this time, it was all hard stuff. Oh well, we all see different things
05/22/2017 at 11:37
That was a good win! HOWEVER!!what the hell is with our pathetic defence, what ever happened to MIND YOUR MAN!! and love Tom BUT he should be leading a lot more?? Go Cars!!

Surprised Duncan didn't get a vote but there were a lot of very strong performers!

I've replaced the ptr valve , not sure if u remember but it was faulty , now just sort of waiting on your advice of weather to repair the unit or recommend to the owner that they should just bite the bullet and do a full replacement . 05/22/2017 at 10:41
Why is Motlop still in the team? He has been playing inconsistent football. When he's great he's great, but weeks being inconsistent surely deserves a week or two in the reserves? Why isn't/hasn't this issue been addressed?

The grand stand looks great, the oval is awesome and you cats have something to be very proud of....playing well! just hang in there!
05/22/2017 at 02:58
Be happy that we won. We have an awesome team best in the league if they all come to play. Shame Nakia got injured. Good luck and hope he comes back soon. Danger looks like his ribs must be healed such a tough guy and fabulous to watch him come out of the centre and Harry just superb. Go carters. Love the new look at the ground. Should give them heaps of incentive.

Back it up these next two weeks and we can get excited.
For me, my favourite moment was when Harry Taylor ran down the fullback and tackled him right in front of goals. Inspiring stuff.
05/22/2017 at 03:19
They need consistency & cannot go back to playing the same way they did against Essendon, Pies & Gold Coast. If they do, then we have a few players coming back later in the season/ next weeks who can help in Guthrie, Parfitt & Mccarthy. On form & position McCarthy comes in for Parsons, Guthrie for O'Conner & Parfitt for Motlop
05/22/2017 at 09:10
We have to treat every team like they're reigning premiers or our nemesis. Let's see the next five weeks - Port, Crows, Weagles, Freo, Giants. Win those 5 and we're in town, lose two and we're at Ballan, lose three and we're somewhere near Manangatang.

A great team effort including the coaches and full points to the whole club for turning a disaster in the early 2000s to an amazing venue and culture. It really is an inredible club even if sometimes we suporters get frustrated and impatient when we don't perform to our best. Well done!!

The Friday night games was fantastic but the 3rd quater was disappointing, Geelong stopped running and Footscray got on top. One good game does not make a Premiership so I will wait and see how they perform in the coming weeks. Geelong showed what they can do so why don,t they do this every week. PS please get rid of Motlop.
05/21/2017 at 23:36
So! Stand up and fight, remember our tradition
Stand up and fight, it’s always our ambition
Throughout the game to fight with all our might
Because we’re the mighty blue and white
And when the ball is bounced, to the final bell
Stand up and fight like hell!

What's interesting will be how we go from here having Scooter in as well. Having more intense players like Scooter and Menagola means more pressure consistently at the coal face. Still need to trade Motlop for a bag of chips.
05/21/2017 at 07:52
There has never been anything soft in Mitch Duncans game thar game against especially Essendon there huge amount of Geelong passengers. Mitch Duncan has always been under rated and 2016 saw him playing really well till he suffer an injury that took sometime to heal. Steven Motlop is the concern in that side he was in trouble with his finger have to put back in place friday but he looks bad with his ball handling he was dropping the ball far to much.
05/21/2017 at 09:17
This needs to be replicated week in week out. He's a great player but elite players do it consistently. That's what makes a true champion.

Lang, Ruggles, in next week, Cocky (hammy) and Motlop (finger) out. I really hope his finger being injured is enough to omit him, as this is the perfect side at the moment. Good job lang, was one of his harshest critics last year, but absolutely getting better week by week this year. Well done!
05/20/2017 at 12:21
Surprising win considering how strong a team Footscray fielded. Doubt they'll make too many changes this week unless forced. Will be a 5 day back up for well performed VFL players.
05/20/2017 at 23:17
As much as they look good remember big jump from VFL to AFL . Think you will find we will put Gutherie (out due to illness ) back in to cover Cocky . Ruggles could come in and go to backline bring Menegola up further field if Motlop injured. Team needs to settle

This is why I have a 7 on my guernsey. Harry you're a legend! Miss you down back but you really stepped up up forward last night! Go cats! 🐱7⃣💙
05/20/2017 at 13:47
Haven't enjoyed the move up forward thus far but he has a very high football IQ, great hands & a pretty good leg logic should dictate that that he is a capable of playing in the front half
05/20/2017 at 07:12
Yes Harry you are amazing. Looks like u are in the right spot and u can still play down back.

Gone from totally disorganised team to a team that could win the Flag that is the way to play footy. Last week deservedly coped a flack for poor performance this week congrats to the team & coaches great effort thats the way to play footy.
05/20/2017 at 00:54
That would be a heart felt man hug full of the relief that the rest of us feel at shaking the 3 week loss streak.
The "hard at it" attitude of last nights game shows that we should never have lost those three matches, and should be a lesson that man for man the lads are every bit as good as the rest.
Well done lads.
05/20/2017 at 01:07
Ok..will the real cats team please stand up...cause last night was not the team of players from previous weeks.....so let's keep last nights players...Bloody great game .....

Feeling bloody proud of the effort tonight! Great win lads. Selwood and danger are on another level but just wanted to give Zac Smith a shout out, thought it was his best game for the club and was vital in that last qtr. Must back up this weeks intensity to next week tho cats 👍🏻
05/19/2017 at 15:16
Scott Selwood has to be a lock for the rest of the season. Forget his VFL performances. Clearly the guy lifts when his playing with his brother at the top level ! 17 tackles !! Must be a lock for the rest of the season along with Mengola ! Let's c if Chris Scott gets it right !! #Lock !
05/19/2017 at 14:37
It was a great win but I was embarrassed when the spectators were encouraged to boo The Western Bulldogs when they were kicking for goals. This should not be allowed and shame on KFC and whoever allowed this occur. Hope it never happens again at Kardinia Park.

Now that what lm talking about!
Have been saying for 3 weeks to bring Scooter back in!
He brings Balance pure and simple!
Now here's touching Wood that he has a great remainder of the Season!
Oh and lve been watching the VFL Boys and Lang is putting on a Show so thinkin he should get a call up on Thursday Night to replace Cocky and Guth maybe a run in the VFL with his Brother!
