Happy National Waffle Day! Fried chicken and waffles my way means panfried chicken and polenta waffles with tomato sauce on top. Both recipes are great on their own, too—and I suggest you make a big batch of waffles, freeze them, then pop them in the oven whenever you get a craving. About once a month, I make a big double batch of this sauce. I put the leftover sauce into ice cube trays and freeze. That way, you can defrost what you need later rather than defrosting a ton of sauce at once, and it's great to have on hand for pasta, chix parm or meatballs!

I discovered this green juice at my fav hotel in NYC and it’s been my go-to ever since. It’s refreshing and light, because of the air that’s incorporated by blending the ingredients (versus juicing), while the slight thickness from the pulp makes it feel satisfyingly substantial. I love it so much, I make it at home—and I recreated the recipe so you can too!

I'm a big believer that beauty starts in the kitchen and always try to use natural products when I can. I've been using this DIY scrub for years as a nightly exfoliator and it just so happens to use one of my fav ingredients: olive oil!
