A little bit of wedded bliss was all it took for Padraig Harrington and Sergio Garcia to bury the hatchet.

None of us know Sergio like Harrington does so there is likely good reason for the bad blood and why he doesn't like him. I like both players and I'm thrilled that Garcia got his first major. I'm glad they were able to bury the hatchet and look ahead.

Oh good, but Harrington is still a jerk.
Will always remember when he was on Feherty and was a wanker because David is from Northern Ireland, not the "real Ireland".

Sergio has finally grown up. It takes some longer than others. He has always been my favourite but has had a problem with getting in his own way.

Unless the numbers of jr. golfers are also increasing because of this it's a non starter. 10 years ago myself and others won 2 consecutive golf state titles in high school, we don't even have enough people to field a JV team now

TG offers leagues that are competitive and fun. Wintertime in KC is a good time for heated bays and friends to keep some touch on the clubs get out of the house. I gave up eight ball league for it. Not bad.

It's fun but it's an expensive ass driving range. I'll stick with my local golf course and their range and drink beer that I sneak into my bag. But yes, it's good for people who need to be introduced easily and have fun with the game for the first time

First, when I travel with my clubs--which is all the time--I'm using the Stiff Arm with my Club Glove bag. Have NEVER had a problem. But TSA and Customs inspections don't always repack club bags and they all need physical inspection searches. This is unfair to dogpile UA on this one and once again, the mob outrage lynches an airline without having facts or evidence.

When you travel and use a soft case, you put your driver and fairway woods head first into the golf bag and it won't happen.

Yes - he can get replacements and free as likely has a deal with what he's playing, but these are definitely not off the rack - a lot of tweaks to get them to max his trackman stats just right. They should still be held accountable for their value.

Still doesn't cover the ludicrous situation of viewer call ins which affect about 20% of the field each week. The other 80% rarely get any TV coverage and therefore don't come under that armchair critic scrutiny.
They still dropped the ball. It is a game and they are out of touch with the real world. "Conspicuously absent from Tuesday’s announcement was any alteration or elimination of two issues that players in particular have been vocal about: allowing viewer call-ins alleging rules infractions, and the rule that adds an additional two strokes for an incorrect scorecard for a penalty that was assessed after the scorecard was signed, which is why Thompson was assessed four strokes instead of just two."

this just brings more ambiguity not less. get rid of video replay for rulings period!!! video replay should be allowed only for situations that assist in pace of play issues. i.e. where a ball crossed hazard, help for lost ball finds etc.
This new decision will rely more on a player’s integrity and less on slow-motion replay.
New decision limits video, allows reasonable judgement

Mediocre decision at best. The first thing the rules clowns should have done was eliminate the arm chair at home rules judges.
Linda Dixon Crocker
If they are going to allow some viewer at home to call the rules then they should have a camera on all players and their golf balls and NOT just the leaders or favorites!! And unless you are bringing instant replay into golf like you have in football and now basketball let the rules officials in the course do their job to the best of their ability and you and home just shut your pie hole and be a viewer not a tattle tail!!
I believe the players should petition to put a stop to this immediately. So sad...Golf fans were really thinking they would do the right thing and stop viewer emails and phone calls. Also once card is signed on that particular day.....It is official. This is very sad for golf and especially the LPGA.

Sell it!!! Not a fan at all unless it was a blind draw and then the Golf channel couldd have made a 3 hour selection show out of it or something and sell a bunch of ads and then show Tin Cup for about the 10,000th time when it's over.

Valero followed by Zurich are two of the worst tournaments to watch all year. The RBC is even pretty stale. After the masters no big names play until the Players, with a few of them doing the Wells Fargo as a warm up. They gotta try something to make it more fun to watch

The more team events the better. It adds more depth to the game and a different level of excitement. Would love to see some professional scrambles.

Lexi doesn't owe anyone anything. She handled this as well as any professional could have. Just because media may want an answer doesn't mean it is required to be given. Issue is how do they control the armchair Refs. Can't possibly have video on every shot so let's get real.

Don't agree with this article at all! It was a USGA rules official at home watching. A phone call should not take away a major from a player. USGA and the LPGA should be ashamed!
LPGA needs to be more professional and as upstanding as the players. The penalty was under handed unfair and almost to the point of intentional. Sad to see this once great group drop to such pitiful lows.
