In 2015, H4H beneficiary, Cass, underwent emergency heart surgery, putting an end to his hopes of ever paragliding again.

But, undeterred by the challenge of recovery, he took to the skies just 11 months later, and is now taking off on a Coast to Coast Hike and Fly fundraising challenge, to say thank you for the support he has received.

“I’m scared of heights, but this is nothing compared to what our soldiers go through to protect us from harm.”

Our brilliant fundraiser, Steven, overcame his fears and braved a tandem skydive in support of our Heroes, raising more than £1,000 as part of our partnership with his employer, GE!

Well done, Steven, and thank you so much! #YourSupportMatters

A group of archaeologists and H4H beneficiaries have built a replica First World War tank at Tedworth House Recovery Centre after unearthing the original tank on an archaeological dig in France.

The project gave the Veterans a chance to put their engineering and problem solving skills to good use and be part of a team again. #RebuildingLives

Some of our Band of Brothers and Sisters enjoyed a family fun day at the Military Museum Scotland last weekend.

It was great to see so many beneficiaries and their loved ones get together and meet some of our amazing volunteers. Hero Bear even made a guest appearance, scoring a few goals and judging the Teddy Bear's Picnic!

We want to say thank you to our wonderful supporter, Dorothy, 91, who has raised £50 for our Heroes by selling her hand-knitted toys.

Dorothy's sight is limited, so she knits by feel. H4H has always been a charity close at heart; Dorothy's husband served in the Navy during WWII and was on the beaches on D-Day.

We are honoured to have her support. Thank you, Dorothy!
