Every year, teams of volunteer Christmas elves visit the Help for Heroes grotto to wrap thousands of presents for our wounded, injured and sick Heroes, bringing a little cheer to those in hospitals and H4H recovery centres across the country.

H4H beneficiary, Gareth, who is living with PTSD, has always had an interest in crafts and, thanks to your support, was able to hone his skills and relax his mind on a week-long woodturning course. The results speak for themselves - incredible work, Gareth!
Over the past seven years, Doing it for Heroes have raised more than £477,000 to support our wounded... and their incredible fundraising efforts continue!

From 3-10 February, they'll be walking 180 miles from Twickenham to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, carrying the Gilbert match ball ahead of the Wales vs England rugby game. Read more here and get behind this amazing challenge.

The gardening club at Tedworth House Recovery Centre provides a great opportunity to get together and learn practical skills in a comfortable environment.

These beneficiaries spent the morning picking, prepping and cooking the vegetables they had grown, to make a delicious soup for lunch.
