3 days out is still a lonnnnng time away for any kind of exact accuracy for the QLD TC coastal crossing... BUT have a look at this forecast scenario on Monday night directly hitting Townsville as a cat 4 with winds to 250k. We really hope this doesn't happen! Models are showing increasing confidence that the system will reach a category 4 before crossing the coast somewhere.

3:25pm SEQ UPDATE: Some good heavy showers are currently moving through the North of Brisbane producing localised falls of 20-40mm under them. Everton Hills has recored 28mm in the last hour with 28mm at Mitchelton. Areas further North towards Strathpine, Redcliffe, Deception Bay and maybe Caboolture could see some of this activity soon.
