7:50pm and moderate to heavy rain areas are moving inland towards Casino and Maclean. Most areas under this rain have already recorded 15-20mm however just to the South of Lismore there has been a localised fall nearing 50mm.
Fingers crossed the Northern side of this can make its presence known over the Gold Coast!

7:10am and showers/storms are lingering off the Coast. Much of the area between the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast has missed it but falls have been impressive South of the Gold Coast with 25mm at Tweed Heads, 49mm at Byron Bay and 104mm (including 51mm in the last hour) at Evans Head.
Isolated showers and storms are expected today across South-Eastern QLD and North-Eastern NSW. A hot dry week coming up for South Australia with up to 40c forecast inland. Adelaide is going for a maximum temp of 37c each day from Tuesday until Friday... This is up to 11c above average and meets heatwave criteria but I better not say "heatwave" or I'll get shot down in comments
