In celebration of Children's Day New Zealand just around the corner, lets come together and show even more Kiwi kids they are treasured....

Parents, like those at Edmonton Primary, are doing their very best, often working two jobs, but small budgets can only stretch so far. For these families providing the basics like regular meals, adequate clothing and healthcare can be challenging.

With Children's Day New Zealand just...

Right now there are 295,000 Kiwi kids going without three meals a day, adequate clothing and healthcare when they are sick. Sadly for many families there just isn't enough money to provide these basics many of us take for granted.

Most New Zealanders’ would agree it’s not okay that so many of our children are going without. So show your love and support for ALL children by sharing a selfie...

Our warehouse is in full swing, with food for term 1 heading out the door to schools around the country.

653,044 items of food are on the way to 133 schools, to keep tummies full and minds engaged. We love distribution weeks, knowing that the kids are getting the essentials that they need for a big 2017.

A big thanks to USANA New Zealand and True for lending a hand making it possible to get...

KidsCan currently feeds over 21,000 Kiwi kids across the country so it's reassuring to read in the Wanganui Chronicle that this support is helping to make a difference at Aranui School.

"Miss Roberts said the assistance from KidsCan made a big difference to the well-being of the pupils.

"The food means that none of our kids have to go hungry, and that has had a huge impact on their behaviour...

Our great friends at Cloudy Bay Clams and Allan Scott Wines showed their support for Kiwi kids again over the weekend, raising an impressive $30,000 for KidsCan at their Chef's on Tour event in Blenheim.

This is a unique, mouth-watering event with renowned international chefs and we feel very lucky to be the chosen charity to benefit from so much talent. Here are a few snaps of the delicious...

We highly recommend you watch the nzherald.co.nz documentary #UnderTheBridge.

We are both proud and privileged to help in whatever small way we can, gifting food, raincoats, shoes and socks, and health and hygiene products to the students of Papakura High. The Salvation Army New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory annual "State of the Nation" report has been released today and although there are some really promising improvements, we still have a long way to go for our most vulnerable Kiwis, our children.

The report titled "Off The Track" says, "Youth offending and teen pregnancy have more than halved, jobs and real wages are rising, alcohol...

A beautifully moving story about an inspiring and uplifting school, Papakura High.

“The impact of poverty on the education of the young people here is quite significant. The most important thing for the kids here is that there are teachers who get up every day, come here and give them a sense of hope that education is going to be the lever that is going to give them a future, a...
