Twenty-two workers at a Brownsville warehouse were evacuated and one person hospitalized after a chemical spill.
Brownsville Fire Chief Carlos Elizondo said sodium hydrosulfite spilled at a business in Fronton Street. The owner of the warehouse, Carlos Banales, was hospitalized for inhalation of the chemical, eye irritation and burns to his face.
Banales was released Tuesday evening.
