Tonight Leeds launches its bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2023 with a special event at the Royal Society of Arts.

Alumni singer Corinne Bailey Rae and Kaiser Chiefs' Simon Rix will be joining, as well as University chancellor Lord Melvyn Bragg.
