Thank you to the 26,223 applicants who once again made Lund University the top choice in Sweden for Master’s degree studies! Of all the applicants to Sweden, 1/3 chose a Lund University programme. Today Pope Francis visited Lund! King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden, along with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven were also in Lund for the Pope's visit.

The reason for the historic visit is that Catholics and Lutherans are together commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
