An unfortunately tough end to an otherwise fantastic year. Francesco Bagnaia was up where he needed to be until another rider's crash took him out, ending his race and his chance of finishing in the top three.

Francesco Bagnaia is looking to hold his third place position in the overall championship standings and could potentially move to second place. It's not over just yet!
Marrakesh ePrix: Felix Rosenqvist collected his first podium in FIA Formula E after scoring the team's first ever pole position. Nick Heidfeld started from P11 and finished in ninth to elevate Mahindra Racing to joint second in the Teams' Championship.

First ever POLE POSITION for both Mahindra and Felix Rosenqvist in Formula E! Nick Heidfeld will start for the team from P11. Tune in to the race later today at 1600 UTC / 2030 IST!
How tight was that? The top 26 riders all within one second of each other here in Valencia! 0.401s off pole but P15 for Jorge Martín Almoguera. He's happy with his pace for the race though.

Not as happy was Francesco Bagnaia who had most of his laps slowed down by other riders looking for a slipstream. He'll still start in 16th and is confident of fighting towards the front.
