Massey University's new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jan Thomas from Australia, will be the second woman to lead the University and the third to head a New Zealand university. Professor Thomas will replace Steve Maharey, who finishes at the end of this year, after just over eight years with Massey.
The delivery of the Bachelor of Food Technology with Honours programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is underway, with the first cohort of students beginning lectures in Singapore earlier this month. The programme is a joint partnership between Massey University and SIT.
