Congratulations to MCC Tennis Section's Jaimee Fourlis, who defeated Anna Tatishvili 6-4 6-3 in the women's singles first round at the Australian Open today. Well done!
A reminder to members that, due to the Australian Open tennis, there will be very little car parking available in Yarra Park tomorrow night for people attending the Melbourne Stars v Brisbane Heat match. Please take public transport.

Gates open at 6.00pm and the match starts at 7.40pm - please allow plenty of time to get to the 'G.
SAVE THE DATE: MCC members can buy visitor tickets to 2017 AFL season games at MCG from February 23. Details to come in weeks ahead.
MCC member Chris Vogt went along to his first BBL game last Tuesday. With kids, colour and activity everywhere, he was reminded of when he too fell in love with cricket.

Visitor tickets are still on sale, and a limited number of Balcony passes will be available from 11.45am. Leave the car at home, arrive early and enjoy the action!

Funny game, cricket! Australia wins the Boxing Day Test by an innings and 18 runs in the final hour of play.

Arrangements for MCC members and guests on Day 5 of the Boxing Day Test:
Day 4 of the Boxing Day Test will commence (weather permitting) at 10am. Gate 2 opens at 9.30am. Walkup dining is available in the Members Dining Room and Jim Stynes Grill.

NEWS: Hawthorn Football Club CEO Stuart Fox has been appointed as MCC CEO, replacing the retiring Stephen Gough.
