A viral image can say whatever you want it to. But in this case, it's gone too far.

The poor woman was probably terrified and didn't want to look let alone know what to do and probably thought scared for her own safety - ugly twats suggesting that as a Muslim woman she doesn't care - Morons!!!
The ignorance and bigotry illustrated by this tweet and re-tweets is exactly why she was probably too scared to stop. Wouldn't you be if you were Muslim?

Has anyone noticed the older lady behind her who isn't stopping either??? No, I didn't think so. This makes me so mad, it feeds hate and fear and the terrorists win again

FFS leave Chrissy alone. It's nobodies business where she chooses to take her kids to eat.

Well. I take my kids to the pub for lunch! Suck on that judgemental asshole! And I give em a lemonade and some garlic bread! Someone call the mum police and take me away! 😩😩😩
Is this what we have become???

It is a derogatory term that is used in a mean way. This is an unnecessary response, trivialising the original letter.
I don't think the issue is that redheads don't like our red hair (we usually do) we don't need reassurance about that. We just need people to realise picking on redheads is pretty much the same as racism. A mainstream comedian would never say a racist joke on tv but somehow 'ranga' jokes are ok?

Nice reassurances, but he still needs to deal with bullying. Hopefully the school community will ensure they stop, as they should

For as long as I can remember people have told me that my natural hair colour is beautiful (I just have to buy it in a box from the chemist these days!).
Even though my hair colour is more ginger than red, I had the name calling thing happen when I was a kid, "carrot top" was the one that sticks in my mind yet aren't carrot tops green? I'm just glad the term "ranga" wasn't used back then, can't stand it.

I can't believe Redheads are still getting bullied, as it's quite a common hair colour nowadays. It's a beautiful colour. My sister (now 51 yrs old) has beautiful red hair but was bullied relentlessly throughout her primary school years. I remember one occasion when she was chased home from school by a group of kids taunting her all the way. Absolutely disgusting, pathetic children and I believe what Dr A says "it comes from the parents". 😡
yesterday at 10:43
Archie ... own it! Us redheads are unique, we stand out in the best way possible! We were intentionally made this way, it didn't come from a bottle and we rock it! People resorting to name calling over our hair colour is not new but if you wear it with pride, that is the best comeback you can give! Stay strong!

I agree. This story just breaks my heart. As a mum to a very naive almost 12yo boy ( and two younger sisters) it is so scary that this is the world we are raising our children in.

Peer pressure! Can lead to disaster for all involved, the child distributing the video may be put on the sex offenders list for life!! Talk about consequences

You should watch the netflix doco Audrey and Daisy. That was pretty full on and very sad. I think everyone with teenagers need to watch it.

Thank you for sharing this! Public awareness is so important. I am a vet and there are tonnes of misconceptions about our job/the amoount of money we earn etc. Thank you

Oh wow this hits close to home, this last month the young female relative of a close friend ended her own life. She was a vet nurse, I never thought that her profession may have contributed to her decision. Thank you for your hard work to those that care for and love our animals 🙏

(I'm hoping that I don't get my head bitten off)
The idea of becoming standard that female journos must do these interviews gives me a similar feeling to the idea of having quotas for female participation on boards or executive level. We shouldn't have to, but maybe be just do...

Good on Rebecca Gibney. I don't know why anyone would have a go at someone who has been beaten. And that can't be the first time Melissa experienced it. The trolls always act like they know the person they are slamming. They don't know them at all. And they don't have any humanity.
03/21/2017 at 12:17
I wonder if any of the haters have ever been subjected to the humiliation of another human being beating and degrading you to the point that you believe you are worthless and deserve it!!!!

Never been a Melissa George fan......but no one deserves to be treated so horribly...by both her ex and the judgemental public....I hope she finds peace

I was 49 and ended up with the same symptoms, but with a lot of pain and very heavy bleeding. Went to Gyno who diagnosed me with Adenomyosis. I ended up having a hysterectomy, and think it's the best thing that could of happened.

Same here... low iron, hideous heavy periods. Had an ablation!! (After the iron infusion!) Best thing ever. Light periods lasting only a day or two. Wish I'd known about it years ago.
