What an exciting day! It's the day of the 37th London Marathon 2017, and this year there are 1,000 supporters running for Mind and Heads Together, making this an historic 'Marathon for Mental Health'.

We’ve got a record-breaking 1,000 runners taking part in this year's London Marathon for Mind, and our President Stephen Fry has got a special good luck message for every single one of them.

“Towards the end of my training I was diagnosed with meningitis...I went from being able to run almost 5km, to struggling to walk upstairs.”

Stephen’s experiences of depression and anxiety inspired him to take up running, and despite a number of challenges along the way, he's running the Swansea Half Marathon for Mind in June.
