YES our metabolisms DO slow down with age and we DO naturally lose muscle mass and accumulate more fat - ESPECIALLY as women.

We actually lose 5 lbs of muscle every 10 years... HOWEVER this does not mean dooms day. We don't have to accept it and we don't have to give up on our goals.

Our bodies respond to how we treat them.

What we eat , how we sleep, how we hydrate , how we train and most importantly, what we tell ourselves and what we BELIEVE about ourselves.
We can't be mad at what we see on our bodies when we haven't truly put the focus into how we treat our bodies.

Chin up progressions with a bar :)

You can use a lowered squat rack or a lebert eq bar like I'm using here

Place your hands on the bar with palms facing you. With your body extended all the way out feet on the floor, pull your body up toward the bar and lower back down. Just the act of working towards this will progress your muscles towards a chin up!

Do as many as you can!

YUMMY and clean unprocessed, paleo, and dairy free coffee creamer!

Ingredients:
1 can coconut cream
1 tsp honey
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
AND if you want to add a little chocolate flavor to mix things up you can add 1/4 cup Raw Cacao

Directions:
Blend mixture on high speed. Store in fridge. Use 1 TBSP in your coffee!

OPTIONAL: Add in 1 scoop protein powder to your coffee before blending.

Upper body challenge.

Pushups with hands close together
Pushups with hands apart at slightly past your shoulders
Move arms back in and from a pushup position, lower each forearm to the ground, then get back up into a pushup
From the push up position, walk your arms out in front of you and then back in.

Aim to do a minute of each of these!
