It really is a small world. In December, 11-year-old Kylie Bush underwent her second multi-organ transplant at Nebraska Medicine. Kylie's older sister happens to be the batgirl for LSU Baseball. It was almost a year ago that Omaha Police Sgt. Todd Kozelichki nearly died from the heart condition that killed actors John Ritter and Alan Thicke. Today, after several other setbacks, he's back on the job and saying thanks to the people at Nebraska Medicine who saved him.

Today marks one year since 7-year-old Breyson Schmidt lost five toes in a lawn mower accident.
