And my 2 year old daughter a nightmare ..
All the years I'd been taming 2 year old tantrums
Just can't seem to do it with my daughter ..

Ridiculous if you ask me. Do them poor kids ever see their mum and dad. No wonder the boy plays he clearly wants some attention from his parents. Ffs sort your own kids out like everyone else has to.

It's really common especially if you are first to be a mum your priorities change and some carefree friends don't understand why and they avoid being with you as they think they don't know what to say. Sometimes a while later when they have a family you can regain that friendship because you have common ground again xx

Yup! Became a mum for the first time 10 years ago...... Again 2 years then 5 months...... motherhood is the best thing ever but can also be the loneliest place in the world! X
yesterday at 10:06
Same here ... seemed to lose all our friends when we had children ... our eldest takes a lot of time up for her behaviour issues and it seems like there's never anyone around when you just need a friendly chat now and then ...

We don't use tech in restaurants but certainly wouldn't judge anyone who does! It's all about personal choice and what works for your family! I have better things to be doing than worrying about how others parent!

I've had looks we when go out for meals and we pull out the iPad. There is only so much colouring my little man can do and when the toys start getting thrown around its iPad time. Like the post said it's not hurting you not even at your table so mind yours.
My little girl colours, draws pictures and we have a chat while she's doing it. We play I spy too. She sometimes brings a doll and pretends to feed it. Or we role play where she's the waitress and we're the customers etc or talk about our days school etc. She's 4 now. But she didn't even go on an iPad until she was 4 & half. No need of it. Plus sometimes we look out for words she can read on menu walls etc. X
