Dolphins seem to have an active approach in free agency.
Should the Dolphins focus on building team through draft or free agency?

Only pay big free agent contracts to bonafide studs. Donta Hightower and Kevin Zeitler for instance. Don't spend money on a question mark like CB AJ Bouye...Could be a system product or one year wonder. Fill areas of need before the draft with second and third tier cheaper free agents (Isa Abdul Quddus was great last year) and then you set yourself up to draft BEST. PLAYER. AVAILABLE. This is how the Patriots do it, Dolphins just need to stick to the plan.
02/21/2017 at 18:24
There's always that one team that spends big in free agency and highly underestimates the element of cohesiveness. Smh. It almost never works out.
02/21/2017 at 18:25
I think you'll see a push to resign KS and Andre Branch. Obviously it depends on how the bidding goes. OV got crazy money last year from the Giants. They won't overpay anymore.

Screw the cheatriots everyone knows what they're about! I'd rather lose playing by the rules then win because of cheating! That's the difference between patriot fans and every other! Barry Bonds of football smh!
02/21/2017 at 16:36
At that point it was them just hoping Atlanta would make mistakes. There's no way they would have came back without some help
02/21/2017 at 17:19
Atlanta literally could've kneeled the whole 4th quarter would win. The comeback was 60% bad play calling, 25% luck and 15% skill...

Can you count on him to produce though? He didn't exactly light it up last year and he has struggled with staying healthy. I'd sign him for a team friendly one year deal to see what he's got.
02/21/2017 at 16:49
I'd be happy if the rams got him, only for what he brings to the young guys. Anybody who watches football knows Victor Cruz can play, and just had it rough with injuries.
02/21/2017 at 18:08
I wouldn't mind seeing him with Amari Cooper, and Michael Crabtree. I'm sure Derek Carr would find away to get him the ball.

I remember when Bills fans were saying that he was just a bust and wasn't going to do anything for the Pats....same for Martellus Bennet and Bears fans....Got to love when Belichick proves people wrong lol
02/21/2017 at 04:42
Hogan did good for his first year in this system. There is no doubt he'll be better next year. I think Hogan's numbers might sky rocket with Gronk out there. Especially if Gronk is drawing all the attention and keeping him in one on one coverage. The sky is the limit for Hogan with Brady throwing to him.
02/21/2017 at 04:33
Name a more balanced Corp than Edelman, Hogan, Amendola, Mitchell. With Gronk and Bennett at TE and Dion Lewis and James White in the backfield receiving.
This team is ridiculous. Love em

Don't overthink it. It'll be Watson. Regardless of your personal preference, he has good stats, athletic, and a winning pedigree.

I'm a Pat Mahomes fan but I don't know how he'll do in the NFL. I'm also a Brett Hundley fan. I think he's better than all of these guys on the list.
02/21/2017 at 03:19
Idk if not for 4 year old red flags and still best qb in this draft class BY FAR is chad Kelley he is 62 and they knock him but a year or 2 in the right scheme with good coaches and he will LAP the field anywhere but Cleveland that place is just jinxed

Romo couldnt survive behind a great o line..no way he will survive behind our (KC) o line...Kansas City needs to quit picking up qbs past their prime and actually draft and develop a qb..We want another superbowl ring.. Smith or Romo is not the answer
02/21/2017 at 01:35
As a Cowboys fan, I wish him well on wherever he decides or IF he gets traded..... thank you #9 for all your blood, sweat, and tears you had put in over the years for the team.
02/21/2017 at 02:51
As a born-and-raised local, Chiefs fans do not want him. Reid has his QB and that will not change until Smith is done playing. Please re-direct the chatter towards the Cardinals, Texans & Broncos...#Romo

NFL Network wants the Patriots to get that 1st Round so badly so they get even better yet they seem to for the last 3 guys who backed up Brady were ALL JOKES. See Ryan Mallet, Brian Hoyer, and Matt Cassel
02/21/2017 at 00:08
Pats fans be like " Tom Brady is a goat. Tom Brady is the reason why we win games." People 28-3 and who stopped that high powered offense in the fourth quarter? Oh yeah their defense. I think Tom Brady was terrible all in first half.
02/21/2017 at 00:31
Another round of foolish behavior! There is no way this guy is worth anything more than the round he was drafted in. People keep getting fooled by the "Hoody". They had better call the suckers who traded for Matt Cassell, Brian Hoyer, and Ryan Mallett. Ask them how many games they won with those losers.

Him and Odrick were making WAY to much money and doing squat on the field. Glad they're both gone. This is saving the Jags over $12M.
He's purely a red zone receiver. Even when he played with Manning he had plenty of tds but only like 550 yards per season. Not a complete player. Can't block, gets hurt frequently, and isn't useful in between the 20's.

Vince Young is looking to make a comeback.
Hasn't played in an NFL game in 5 years.
Can Vince Young resurrect his football career in the CFL?
861 likes - 110 comments
No. The CFL is almost a completely different game than the NFL. It takes almost a full season just to adjust to the extra player on the field, I doubt he has the mobility he used to and his decision making process has likely not improved in his five years away. Also, there are no Cheesecake Factory's in Regina so...
02/21/2017 at 01:56
No. Anymore if you miss a year it's too hard to make a comeback. The league is that competitive. There has been 100's Vince Youngs in the past 5 years. His last good game was at Texas.

I wish him the best, sometimes you got to lose it all to realise what you had. Wouldn't be the first time someone rose from the ashes

He'll most likely be somewhere else. I think his cap hit is too high, if I remember right, and he just has not been that good the past 3 years. There's no touch on his passes just those laser beams. As Willie said the production isn't there. Being a veteran player though he will get picked up.
So it's Kap, or McCarron, or Schaub. Let's be real here. But if Kap wants to play in SF, he'll play well for Shanny, look how well he played last year. I'd take that version of Kap over any free agents.
What's one more year if it saves money that can be spent on other areas. I'm not a big fan of kap playin qb but unless you spend draft picks and a butt load of money you won't get much. Can always draft a qb with with a top 3 or 4 pick next year.

But I thought he was great because he beat Tom Brady? Oh right that was his defense.
He has always been overrated. One of the luckiest "franchise" qbs ever..he's just as likely to throw 6ints as he is 6 TD's and I'm sorry but for a 35 year old QB that's just not good enough. He should know how not to do that.

Pound for pound he's the best receiver but Julio is easily the best because of his size and speed that AB just can't duplicate because it's God given.

I think you meant to say he's the second best next to Julio
yesterday at 02:43
At the begining of this past season i said Ab was the best. By yhe end i stood corrected. He is great with out a doubt, but of you watch film of the spectacular catches. And all in play with no reserve for health ( yeah that could come back to get him one day) Julio Jones is in fact the best reciever in the NFL Today.

As a Browns fan I really feel as if this is the only player we should take. Adding him along with the Kirksey and Jamie Collins and all of a sudden we may finally start getting after QBs. But this dude does have tendency of taking plays off, which is definitely concerning

Watch the Bengals trade the Browns McCarron and their 1st round pick for the Browns first rd pick, then draft Garrett. How crazy would that be?

I'm a cowboys fan and I was pretty bummed out that we were getting our butts kicked. Mainly due to being undisciplined. But even tho we lost. It felt good knowing our team rallied back and showed heart. The patriots won the Super Bowl the same way. Maybe if Rodgers didn't make a great play to put his team in FG range and we win coin toss in overtime we get the W. Still a epic game.
02/19/2017 at 23:28
Easily one of the year's best. A really enjoyable game to watch. I was glad I had no horses in the race so I could sit back and enjoy two really good teams go at it.
